Guru – General Library of our college consists a large number of books, journals, magazine and modern communication gadgets. It is one of the strengths of the institution. Especially for English Department there are volumes of critical texts available apart from text books. It is the greatest aid for research scholars and students of the department as they can locate necessary materials near to them. The library is well equipped with books and online sources, INFLIBNET is one among them, which enhances the assessors to find a huge number of sources related to there area of research and brings maximum materials in few touches of finger tips. Apart from literature some hundreds of books are accessible for developing language skills and personality development.
A special section is allotted for IAS, NET and other competitive exams aspirants; in this section a full volume of Encyclopaedia Britannica, voluminous books on various fields and model books for competitive exams. More than two scores of standard journals and magazines are subscribed and the back volumes are maintained in hard binding.

Our department library is another wonderful source of knowledge, which contains nearly a thousand books on various topics related to English Literature and Criticism. Many rare collections of books were imported from international publications. Ample books are available on literary critical theories and philosophies.
Literary video collection is a part of the library, contains cinematized literary works of great writers. Three desktop systems with high speed internet connection, a portable printer and a photocopier are provided for the convenience of scholars.

The spacious language lab contains 70 desktop systems with video and audio gadgets.

The Asian Journal of English and Linguistics (AJEL), published by our Department, is a peer-reviewed journal with its broad focus on the innovations in the arena of English Studies. This journal provides a platform for the potential contributors and invites articles from veterans across the globe. Articles in the journal comprise 6000-7000 words.
The Intellectual trajectory includes literature survey, comparative literature, cross-cultural studies, critical outlook, diasporic and ethnic studies, communication skills, pedagogy, emerging trends in the study of literature, sociological, psychological, ethical aspects of literature, media of cultural expression, literary theories, gender-based discussions, the phonetic aspects, linguistics in all its perspectives, research materials etc.., The articles will be strictly evaluated by the Inter-national advisory board members and the guest editors. All articles open and special will be subjected to a thorough scrutiny of the experts in the corresponding genres.
